Michelle (Shelle) Frelo
Our Founder & President
A native Californian, who thinks of herself
as a southerner being raised in New Orleans,
LA. Shelle was transplanted from the coast
of California to Missouri in 1998. The oldest
of three children she her brother and sister
are extreamly close. They have been blessed
to share the Lord Jesus Christ.
Shelle has had some obstacles and tragedies.
Through her personal tragedies; physical,
sexual, and emotional abuse imposed on her
by her step father, grandmother, and uncle,
homelessness, poverty, racism within her
own ethnic group and beyond, her insecurities
about her self worth and physical looks.
Shelle learned to depend on God’s extraordinary
mercies and grace to get her through.
The challenges God allowed in her life prepared
her to understand and connect with women
on many different levels.
When Shelle began Just For Us Ministries
it allowed her to share with all those the
ministry touched the knowledge that she had
about the awesomeness of God. Giving her
the understanding that an ordinary woman
can live by extraordinary faith despite her
circumstances or her fears through the power
of Holy Spirit, and if God could do that
for her, He could surely do it for all those
who trust in Him.
Shelle’s life experiences have broadened
over the years. Giving her an even deeper
understanding and connection with the women
around her.
She has been married for 15 years and has
only one baby named “Zowie” her Tibetan Terrier.
However when asked does she have any children
she is quick to reply “Yes 400 of them” she
works as a Behavior Interventionalist for
a public school and has a 40 piece youth
choir. Shelle refers to all of them as her
babies.
Shelle’s Main Message Is: It's Not About
Shelle, Its About GOD …
Shelle knows that God has not completed the
vision He gave her so many years ago. She
also realizes that human beings are not perfect
and must stay watchful that they do not fall
into the traps of the enemy. It is for this
reason she asks that as she works through
the guidance of the Holy Spirit to develop
and implement the vision that God put on
her heart that you lift the ministry, herself,
and those serviced or affiliated with the
ministry up in prayer.
Shelle asks that you intercede in pray for
the following: That she and all those working
in, or affiliated with Just For Us Ministries
stay humble, focused on Christ and the Will
of God, that each is blessed with wisdom,
discernment, insight, unity and cohesiveness
within the ministry, compassion, kindness,
patience and the desire, strength, and power
to do all things according to God’s Will,
in His timing and for His Glory.
A Note From Shelle
Take courage as you make your way through
this thing called life. We are only here
for a moment but the choices we make while
we are passing through last for all eternity.
